My Story
I am a Burn Survivor who survived a horrific airplane crash at Pope Air Force Base, NC in 1994 while a young Paratrooper Officer in the 82nd Airborne Division. Initially given a low (~30%) chance of survival, I was then told I would not stay in the Army. 21 years later I retired after serving in places as far flung as Kosovo, Iraq, and Germany. During my time in uniform I have been honored to command at the company and battalion level, advise General Officers, and serve in many staff assignments doing everything from logistics to training, intelligence, and strategy. I now get to put my passion for and experience in leadership into coaching.
I am happy to speak to your company, church, school, or professional organization. My aim is to motivate and challenge you and your team with my story while entertaining you with humor, heart, and a few offbeat observations. Mine is a tale of grit, determination, faith, love, hope, and just plain “you’re not going to believe this”.
